How I
created the movie |
I created my movie using
Flash MX and Movie Maker. |
I started by designing
storyboards for the movie. |
I then created all of the
animated text for the movie using Flash. I started in Flash by setting the
frame rate to 12 frames per second. |
I had to create different
layers in Flash and give them appropriate names so that I knew what each
layer contained. |
After creating everything
that I need to produce and animated text for the movie I started inserting key
frames into the timeline and creating motion tween. This allowed the text to
be animated. I then inserted key frames at primary moments of the text
animation. |
The window that was of most
help to me in this program was the properties window. In this window I was
able to change the frame rate, background colour, size of the workspace,
fonts and text size, amongst other things. |
After I had created
everything in Flash that was to be included in the movie I had to publish it
as an swf file type. I did this by first saving the movie and then left
clicking on file and selecting publish. |
After producing and
animating the text I then recorded a movie clip that I could import and edit
in Movie Maker. |
Once I had recorded the
movie clip I had to import it from the video recorder into Movie Maker before
I could start editing it. |
After I had imported the
movie clip into Movie Maker I started editing it by playing the clip and
stopping it at a point when I wanted to edit. To edit the clip I had to
left click on the button to split the movie clip into two parts and then I
deleted the part that I did not want. |
After I had edited all the
parts out of the movie that I did not want I inserted the movie clips into
the timeline. |
After inserting the movie
clips into the timeline I recorded a narration explaining want the movie was
about and what it was showing. I did this by left clicking on the button
called narrate timeline. |
This then open a new window
where I could start and stop the recording of the narration. |
Once I had finished the
narration I had to insert it into the timeline with the movie clips. |
When I had inserted the
movie clips and the sound clip I had to save what I had done as a movie file
type. I did this by left clicking on file and selecting save movie file. |
