| What classes as exercise |
What classes as exercise? For something to be classed as exercise your heart rate must reach between 65 and 85 percent of your maximum heart rate. You can work out roughly what your maximum heart rate is by misusing your age from 220. For example if you are 16 you would work out you maximum heart rate like this. 220 - 16 = 204 220 - (your age) = (100%, your maximum heart rate) After exercising you will often feel hot, sweaty, tired and out of breath. Many different activities that you carry out daily class as exercise because they get you heart rate up, such as hoovering and walking up and down the stairs. So its not just the obvious things like sports and weight training that class as exercise. If you think about it you probably already do more exercise than you realise.
