Information Point
I started this task of by creating a story board to insure I knew what
was going on each slide, and how I was going to lay it out. My original

I decided to make my own slide template and background. Using a musical wave image from m62 Visual Communications ltd I designed a title and side bar with the Make Space Logo. I included Make Space images of young people along the top title bar and added effects to make the images merge into each other. I deigned this in Macromedia Fireworks and the imported it in the slide masters, before editing the title and main body text font, colours and styles.
After testing the design, to ensure it looked right and fitted well with the Make Space project and the Musical theme. I started adding the content including two of my primary images from the Gathering Information task. I set up automatic custom animation to minimize the effort needed from the user but insured they could move on to the next slide or skip the animation with one click. Through out designing and adding content to the information point I ensured that both the language and design was suitable for the target audience.
I acknowledge all primary and secondary sources through out the information point and on the extra screen at the end containing any extra copyright or acknowledgments.
Once finished tested the point and check user ability, whether it was fit for the audience and proof read the information within it.
I then asked for feedback and comments which was mainly positive:
"Great and relevant images. Good use of colour, images and styles. Well laid out and planned. Great background design."
"Not so sure about the custom animation used, to slow and takes to long."
Using the last comments, I changed the custom animation from being "Coloured Type Writer" to a much simpler and faster animation.
