Eportfolio
I decided that when I finished a main task I would create the eportfolio
pages for that task to ensure that I did not forget the things I did
in the task when it came to creating all the pages at the end of the
project.
I set up a navigation structure using each of the main tasks as the headings, and including sub pages when necessary I decided to create a separate folder for each task and include a 'files' folder within that for the files relating to that task to be stored.
I decide to number all the files used so that it was easy to find the
file you were looking for. I set the number system up by starting the
file name with its section number and then the files number.
E.g. the Survey sections number is 02 and the second file in the file folder
would be 0202.
I have also added a Site Map page for easy navigation and have added a Accessibility page for information on how I ensured the pages were accessible to all.
I ensured that all my evidenced files for the Eportfolio were the allowed file types.
I have checked the eportfolio and have set it out in such away that it will work on another PC and so it is fully portable.
Through out the project I kept an eye on the folder ensuring that the files did not exceed 15MB.
I have asked several people to review the eportfolio and here is their
comments:
"A very comprehensive and thorough E-portfolio that clearly
demonstrates
you have worked to the highest requirements."
"To be frank, your work is superb. Excellent commentary of your tasks - really thorough and related to the mark alerts - this to me seems as the type of thing the board should show other ICT teachers as an exemplar!"
"Very accessible, colorful, well structured and laid out!"
There were just a few things I needed to change, like silly little spelling
mistakes, and adding some final information and sub-headings before I then
finally check the eportfolio for one last time.
