I have created a folder for each of the publications and one for research, but I haven't decided yet what structure my eportfolio will have. I used the Internet to do most of my research into screen-based media. It is a very big topic with lots of sub-topics. I think I'll probably have to do some more research into particular topics once I start working on the publications. |

The target group for my questionnaire are parents with teenage children. I have done quite a lot of work on the draft questionnaire and asked Mr Rushby (maths teacher) to test it. He suggested some changes that would make the data I collect easier to analyse. |

Research finished on time questionnaire finished on time I handed out copies of my questionnaire to 60 parents as they arrived for Year 10 parent evening. This was a lot quicker than sending them home for parents to fill in. I got nearly all of them back but only 12 questionnaires were filled in by fathers. |

Carry on putting data into spreadsheet | Had a progress review with Miss Gaffney. She likes my questionnaire and is pleased with what I have done so far. I need to change my plan because I haven't finished the survey and Miss Gaffney thinks it would be sensible to do the PTA report next. Collating the data from the questionnaires is taking ages and is quite boring to do. I asked Charlotte (friend) to pick ten completed questionnaires at random and check that I had entered the data into the spreadsheet accurately. I did the same for her. Had second progress review with Miss Gafffney. She said my report was excellent but suggested I include a copy of the questionnaire in an appendix. She reminded me that I needed to get someone to review the finished report. I will ask Mr Kirkham (science teacher) because he is a member of the PTA. I need to change my plan to fit in work on the leaflet. Report finished 3 days late I nearly finished my report on time but only by delaying work on the leaflet. |
